my experience

Director | Factual, Unscripted & Documentary

With 25+ years in the industry, I’m a versatile director confident in both the field and the edit. Skilled in self-shooting (Sony FX9) and edit producing, I bring a cinematic eye and a sensitive touch to powerful real-world stories. My work spans BBC One (Ill Gotten Gains), Channel 4 (George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces), Sky One (Stop Search Seize), RTÉ (The Complaints Bureau), and Virgin Media (Help Me Buy a Home, We Need to Talk About Dementia). I also directed the RTS Award- winning What Daire Did Next. I'm currently directing a four part travel documentary which has filmed in Peru, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Moldova. Whether leading a crew or flying solo, I’m driven to craft compelling, visually rich narratives that connect.

Equally comfortable working solo or leading a crew, I have experience directing both single and multi-camera shoots, always with a focus on crafting compelling, visually rich narratives.
